This is an awesome weekend project for anyone passionate about toy quadcopters who wants to build one themselves. The flight controller I'm using in this build is Racerstar F3D8 F3 Flight Controller, a clone of the tinyFISH FC. It's based on STM32F3 microcontroller and comes with an integrated FrySky compatible receiver, making it work seamlessly with your favorite Taranis Transmitter. As for the ESC, I'm using a 4 in 1, 4A ESC (16x16mm Racerstar Star4 4A 1S Blheli_S D-Shot 600 Ready 4 in 1 ESC) paired with a Racerstar 0703 10000KV brushless motor. The build also features a 300mAh 1S battery. You can check out a quick video demo of the maiden flight at the park and some testing at home here: https://youtu.be/LeXHRqgoIQ4 Be warned that this build requires a fair bit of minute soldering and has many tiny moving components, so you'll need to muster up the courage and patience to complete it!
