PocketPi Rev 1.1 The Screwless Raspberry Pi Zero W Computer Case

thingiverse

A few years ago I designed the PocketPi--a simple Raspberry Pi Zero W enclosure--using a demo of Rhino and after that trial version of Rhino expired I redesigned the case using OpenSCAD. This is the latest version of that redesign and the second official revision of the PocketPi. The latest revision includes many changes but is an otherwise featureless iteration of the PocketPi. It maintains the same M2.5-compatible screw holes as the original but now the two halves snap together so this is also technically a screwless design. It provides minimal access to the Raspberry Pi Zero W's GPIO using a ribbon cable which you would have to solder yourself, the Camera IO port, the micro SD slot, the OTG USB Micro-B power port, the USB Micro-B accessory port and the mini HDMI port. Apparently I only released the original PocketPi as .OBJ files because Rhino would crash trying to export .STL so the fact that the new revision is delivered as .STL files is a new feature as well--yikes. Good one, old me! If you just need a piece of plastic to keep the dust off your Raspberry Pi Zero W this has been my go-to for years now and it has served me well.
