Pebble Time Showstopper Winner This design was crafted specifically for the new Pebble Time smart watch (which uses 22mm watch bands, making it compatible with other watches that utilize 22mm watch bands) but I've now included versions in the download to fit watches with 21mm and 20mm bands as well. You can now convert any watch using 20mm, 21mm or 22mm watch bands into a stylish retro pocket watch suspended from a fascinating chain that's 3D printed fully assembled, requiring no assembly apart from installing a small 3D printed spring for the quick attach/release system. Be sure to print the files corresponding to the band size of the watch you want to convert. The functions and setup of this accessory are clearly demonstrated in the YouTube video. It's only logical that the most modern watch should meet the modern world of 3D printing to create cool custom stylish accessories such as watch straps for this watch. However, 3D printed watch straps are nothing new, so I decided to think outside the box and instead of something new, I thought of something old; I took a step back in time to make something unique yet familiar for this watch, and what I've designed is a unique accessory to convert your new modern Pebble Time smart watch into an old-fashioned retro pocket watch with a modern twist (it's 3D printed!). This converter consists of a chain that can bend in any direction due to alternating pivot directions in each link, resulting in a modern stylish chain with a full range of movement possible. The chain has been designed so it's printed fully assembled with no assembly required and no support needed. On one end of the chain is a clip that can attach to shirt pockets or other clothing, while the other end attaches to your watch with a simple spring-loaded quick attach/release system consisting of a small button that allows you to attach or remove the chain from your watch in mere seconds, making it quick and easy to attach and remove this accessory just like the watch bands that come with the Pebble Time. This design is printed in two parts: the main chain and a small spring that's then inserted into the buckle end of the chain that attaches to the watch, allowing the spring-loaded quick release system to function.
