POCKET TOOL GRINDER

POCKET TOOL GRINDER

Having crafted the POCKET WOOD LATHE and fabricated tools from sewing machine needles, I needed something to hone them on. This tool was born out of necessity. As the second creation in my pocket series, it's based on my POCKET WOOD LATHE, found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1092972. Centered around using the same head-stock as the wood lathe, future tools will follow a similar style. The bearing on the head-stock is designed to fit snugly onto the lathe's shaft, addressing the issue of wobbling caused by floating movement. A standard Dremel mandrel serves as the base for the grinding wheel, with the 3mm end removed and adapted to suit my motor. Stay tuned for more innovative pocket tools tailored for modeling enthusiasts. **Required Parts** * HEAD-STOCK: 1 unit * SADDLE: 1 unit * TOOL-REST: 1 unit * STAND: 1 unit * BEARING (10mm OD): suits motor shaft diameter of 1/8" * CAP SCREWS (4mm): 1 set * CAP SCREWS (3mm): 10 units * 8MM ROD: 2 pieces, approximately 100mm in length * MOTOR: compatible with my old battery drill
