Gameplay Overview ---------------- Players take on the roles of AstroForce operatives, each with unique abilities and playstyles. The objective is to eliminate the Mytoan Spore Host by working together as a team. **Turn Structure** 1. **Initiation Phase**: The game starts with the player who initiated the assault. 2. **Roll Phase**: All dice are rolled simultaneously. 3. **Bump Phase**: Players take turns using bumps, adjusting die results up or down. 4. **Re-Roll Phase**: Players re-roll their die results to adjust for support or favored terrain effects. 5. **Tally Phase**: Players compare their OFF results against the opponent's DEF results. **Types** * **Human**: No effect on gameplay. * **Elf**: Agile and quick, with increased mobility. * **Robot**: Enhanced strength and durability. **Hazards** * **Water**: A unit moving into a Water tile must succeed at a DV 5 DEF test or be defeated immediately. * **Favored Terrain**: Units deployed in their favored terrain ignore hazard effects native to that terrain type. **Victory Conditions** * **Elimination**: The game ends when all enemy units are eliminated, and the last player standing achieves victory. * **Control of Features**: A single player controls all features on the map, securing a victorious outcome.
