Pocket Soldering Iron Stand
thingiverse
For my toolbox I needed a reliable temperature-controllable soldering iron that's also lightweight. On the recommendation of a friend, I purchased a Mustool MT223. In addition to the soldering bob, you get five interchangeable soldering tips. When working on the go, you don't need as many tips as you do in the workshop, so a stand and cleaning sponge are essential. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable stand that matched my requirements. So, I designed a foldable stand with space for three soldering tips and a sponge. After printing, I had to file down the pins of the stand to get them into the recesses of the base. As a splint for the hinge, I used 1mm copper wire. To open the soldering iron stand, simply press on the front side with your thumb against the base and use your middle finger to push against the top from the back - now you can easily raise the top without any problems. 73 es 55 de DH1ND Print Settings: Printer: CTC 3D Printer Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Layer height 0.2mm / 2 Shells Infill: 20% Notes: Special attention must be paid to the closure and hinge construction.
