Pocket Slingshot
thingiverse
The concept originates from the original pocket slingshot found on online marketplaces like eBay and Amazon. I envisioned a more advanced version with customizable features, including an addon for using arrows and steady grips. To enhance the design, you can replace the molded latex pouch that comes with the original pocket shot with a balloon. This modification allows for better performance and flexibility. Alternatively, you can cut an elastic yoga band to use as a substitute for the balloon. Yoga bands are significantly stronger than balloons, making them a more reliable option. The piece used for shooting arrows features a 7mm hole, which accommodates standard-sized arrows with ease. When printing the pieces with handles, it's essential to use support structures and ensure that the infill is set to 100%. This will guarantee a sturdy and durable design. One of the handles has a built-in crosshair (a tube for aiming), allowing you to center your shots up to 5 meters away. The crosshair's angle of view is approximately 3 degrees, ensuring accurate targeting.
