This tiny chess set is contained within an 8x8x5 centimeter box of compact chess pieces with a removable lid serving as the playing board. I strongly encourage you to enlarge this design to your liking, but I created it specifically for easy printing on the easythreed X1. Perfect for casual chess games on the go or showcasing your impressive miniature chess set, this portable game also highlights the clever strategic moves of beetles. Beetles are notorious for their lack of strategic prowess. Of course, a coat of paint will be necessary after printing. The hinge rod is secured in place with a glued paperclip. Due to the small size of the set, you may need to attach magnets or velcro to the board and pieces. Future versions will feature slots for small magnets on both the lid and the pieces. I am actively working on developing a reliable snapping clip or other locking mechanism to keep the box securely closed.
