I have been carrying pocket notebooks as part of my daily carry for several years now. You know, the Moleskine or Field Notes 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch variety. I fill them with important numbers, dates, lists, and random musings, among other things. In an increasingly digital world, I have found it quite beneficial to use the physical act of writing notes to help me better remember and process ideas for all parts of my life. The one part of carrying a notebook that I feel could be improved is the commitment one must make to the layout on the paper. If a person chooses lined paper, then they are forced to continue using lines until that notebook is filled. It's the same if they choose dots or graph paper. But what if a user could customize each page to their whim? This is why I designed these stencils. Each of these stencils allows the user to customize their notebook page to meet the required purpose. Ideally, these would be used to create a layout on blank notebook pages. I have found, however, that they can be used fairly easily with lined paper as well. The enclosed stencil templates include: - 6mm lined paper (the line spacing of Moleskine brand notebooks) - 1/4 inch dot grid - 6mm lined checklist - 6 box organizer (use it to divide a page into six boxes for weekly planning purposes, or three boxes each on two facing pages for more room, or divide a page into two columns) - A blank stencil for your own customization needs. - An isometric dot grid stencil (sized for 5 1/2 inch paper) can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3798707 Notes: 1. These are designed to work with a 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch pocket notebook. The stencil is sized to fill the page. But, they can certainly be used on paper of any size. 2. All of the dots and lines are 1.5mm thick, so a fine-tipped pen or freshly sharpened pencil are necessary. 3. Graph paper can be easily made by using the lined stencil in the vertical orientation and then turning it horizontally. 4. These are designed to be thin. Only .4mm thick, to be exact. This enables a two-layer print at the .2mm resolution, which gives a durable, but thin stencil that can be carried in the notebook for use when needed. 5. For a thicker, more rigid stencil, simply increase the Z scale in your slicer program.
