I have carried pocket notebooks as part of my daily carry for a few years now, and I must say that the Moleskine or Field Notes 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch variety has been my go-to choice. I fill them with vital information, such as phone numbers, dates, lists, and random thoughts, among other things. In an increasingly digital world, I have found it quite beneficial to use the physical act of writing notes to help me better remember and process ideas for all aspects of my life. The one part of carrying a notebook that I feel could be improved is the commitment one must make to the layout on the paper. If a man chooses lined paper, then he is forced to continue using lines until the notebook is filled. It's the same if he chooses dots or graph paper. But what if a user could customize each page to his preference? This is why I remixed this stencil. This stencil allows the user to customize their notebook page to meet their specific needs. Ideally, it would be used to create a layout on blank notebook pages. I have found, however, that it can be used fairly easily with lined paper as well. The enclosed stencil templates include: -An isometric dot grid stencil (sized for 5 1/2 inch paper). -Other pocket notebook stencils can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3798657 This is merely an extension and slight resizing of "Isometric Grid Pocket Templates" by Andyfuentes (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3024568). He has a great design, but I made it to fit a larger piece of paper. Notes: 1. This stencil is designed to work with a 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch pocket notebook. The stencil is sized to fill the page, but they can certainly be used on paper of any size. 2. The dots are relatively small, so a fine-tipped pen or freshly sharpened pencil are necessary for use. 3. This stencil is designed to be thin. Only .4mm thick, to be exact. This enables a two-layer print at the .2mm resolution, which gives a durable but thin stencil that can be carried in the notebook for use when needed. 4. For a thicker, more rigid stencil, simply increase the Z scale in your slicer program.
