Pocket Metal Locator - Arduino
thingiverse
This awesome little Pocket Metal Detector is incredibly sensitive, capable of identifying tiny Nails and Tacks in wood, and compact enough to fit into tight spaces making it easy to carry and use for metal detecting. The unit features four independent search coils and color LED indicators allowing users to quickly cover a larger search area while accurately pinpointing the target. This neat little device is self-calibrating with one-button operation, rechargeable through a USB port, and uses color LEDs, sound, and vibration to indicate target strength. Included in this project are all of the designs, testing, code, and 3D files required to build your own. I hope you have as much fun building and using this as I did!
