Pocket Hole Depth Jig

Pocket Hole Depth Jig

Last year I created a jig for cutting pocket holes for wood joinery using a design that isn't made by Kreg but still performs very well. To use this jig effectively, you need to set a depth collet on your drill and adjust it according to the thickness of the wood you are working with. Initially, there was no built-in jig for setting this depth, so I had to rely on the instructions that suggested setting it by eye while holding the drill in place using the drill holder. This lack of precision inspired me to spend an hour designing a solution using TinkerCAD, and the result is a device with five different settings that also includes a twin-depth gauge for selecting the correct setting based on the specific wood thickness being used.
