This is my ultra-portable travel design for hive expansions that doubles as a compact masterpiece. It's 100% printed, slips neatly into a pocket, and can withstand a drop straight onto the hinge from standing height without budging an inch! Sizes: I originally designed these to accommodate printing imperfections, so if your prints come out a bit larger, try pairing them with the 70 mm case and the 2.1 mm pieces. If you've got a finely tuned machine, go with 2.4 mm pieces and the 70 mm case instead. If you're unsure, print the pieces first, stack all 28 together, and measure to get an accurate reading. You can either print the case and cap as one piece with supports touching the model to save some filament or break it down into two separate prints with supports. Once it's printed, clean up the hinges, insert the pin, and you're good to go! Swapping out the material mid-print for the case adds a nice touch to its overall aesthetic!
