Pocket Eye Wash Station
thingiverse
A simple pocket eye wash adapter transforms any sink into a fully functional eye wash station or dual-headed water fountain instantly. Recently, I experienced significant eye swelling that I suspected might be caused by a stray eyelash, dog hair, or other tiny irritant. At the time, I thought an eye wash station would have been a huge help. Not having one available, I simply took a shower to rinse out my eyes. Now, I own a portable eye wash station that fits in my pocket and accompanies me everywhere. A small ring of rubber glued around the intake significantly improves the seal, allowing for taller fountains so users don't need to be as close. While this modification enhances performance, I found the original adapter worked well enough on the faucets throughout my house.
