Pocket Earbud Holder
thingiverse
This is an earbud holder designed specifically for my Sennheiser MM30i headphones, but its versatility should make it suitable for a wide range of earbuds. My goal was to keep things simple, eliminating complicated latches and unwinding sequences that can be frustrating. I also aimed to create a smooth exterior so the holder feels comfortable in my pocket when using the headphones. Two small holes are strategically placed at either end of the recess, allowing me to store my earbuds face down for added protection. A notch is conveniently located where the wires emerge, and I wrap them once before adding the microphone, then continue wrapping as needed. The headphone plug simply tucks in wherever it fits best. Printing requirements are minimal. The example shown was created using PLA at 0.2mm on my Prusa Mk3, with some filament switching added to give it a bit of flair. Edit: I initially uploaded the design specifically for my Sennheiser earbuds, which have a smaller diameter than many other earbuds. To make this holder more accommodating, I uploaded an updated version with larger holes that should work well with a variety of earbuds, including some Monster models I had on hand.
