Pocket Drone Video Recorder

Design of a remarkably compact quadcopter specifically engineered for carrying an action camera, thoroughly tested with Xiaomi Yi and GoPro. Its diminutive size allows it to fit perfectly within a backpack or purse, making it the ultimate companion for capturing hero shots anywhere. The drone's design prioritizes ease of use, featuring a connect-and-go configuration that eliminates worries and enables seamless flight and recording experiences. Capable of accommodating motors with diameters up to 16mm, this quadcopter has been successfully paired with DYS1306-2300kw and Multistar 1704-1900kv motors in my testing setup. The ESCs used are 12 amp, which fit snugly within the arms' designated spaces. A velcro strap is employed to secure the battery in place, reflecting the drone's intended use for smooth and calm flying rather than acrobatic maneuvers. Recommended battery size ranges from 1000-1300mAh with a 3s configuration. Propeller size can vary from as small as 5 inches to under, with my testing utilizing the 5030 DAL prop. The camera is securely fastened in place by an elastic band threaded through the frame's holes and tied off with knots, ensuring a snug fit that prioritizes safety. The frame's dimensions match those of the camera, providing additional stability and protection during flight. Inside space is generously allocated, allowing for the installation of various flight controllers, including those measuring 50x50mm or smaller. I have personally tested the HKPro Multiwii, which fits precisely within this quadcopter. A Bluetooth module was used for controller purposes, and there is ample space to integrate a GPS module, enabling position locking while capturing footage. Control of the model is effortlessly achieved via a smartphone interface utilizing the EZ-GUI app. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1-0.3 Infill: 20-30
