This is a replica part for a pocket door. It screws into the top of the door and offers the bearing surface for the door to slide along its rails. Designed to be printed in PLA, investment cast, and then threaded, this replacement part is a precise duplicate of an original part with a 5/16-32 thread pitch, which was too fine to print or cast successfully. In the image, the original die cast piece is shown on the left, alongside three replica parts that were printed in PLA and then cast in brass.
