Permanent Orienteering Course Control Point Marker Flag Setting up permanent orienteering courses (POC) with 3.25 x 3.25 in. control marks for placing on 4x4 posts and more. Included are 24 three-letter tiles you can print and use, as well as a Tinkercad link and a Fusion 360 file to create your own text or logos. You can edit the text in the Fusion .f3d file by modifying the initial sketch. Use any symbol or pattern to identify individual control points. Three and four-character strings are typical. Try using character sets from unrelated things, like Ham Radio abbreviations or airport IATA codes (SEA, FHR, ORD, ATL, LAX, LHR, GLA, ORY, YVR, LIH, JFK, HHH, MBA, LIM, NRT, HKG). Recommend PETG for outdoor durability. PLA is fine for short-term use. The prints are designed to be a sequential 2-color print using the M600 gcode command change/print with new color starting at 1.00mm.
