poang Mouse Rest
thingiverse
Here's a Mouse-Rest/Pad that uses one single 4-ish mm woodscrew to attach to an IKEA POÄNG chair's arm. I'm unsure if 003 will be too big. Currently using 002 and although not perfect (it's 10-20mm too far forward) I see no need to go bigger or different. I used to use PET to compensate for the refraction of 3D-printed PLA occasionally making the mouse movement weird. However, unless you live in a cold climate this will probably be slightly sticky on your hand and inhibit movement. A cut-to-fit sheet of cheap BuildTak (adhesive polypropylene) as sold for use on 3D printer heatbeds is actually the ideal surface. The slightly textured surface is perfect. Logitech sells an almost identical surface on their "Logitech G440 Hard Gaming Mouse Pad", but those are expensive, have additional layers, and are not self-adhesive. It works perfectly for me: PLA, 0.4mm nozzle, 1.2mm walls/top/bottom, 10% triangles infill.
