PNW Mountain tiles for Catan
thingiverse
These are mountain tiles for the popular board game Settlers of Catan, meticulously crafted from reliable USGS data that accurately depicts the rugged landscape of the Pacific Northwest's majestic mountains. Inspired by JAWong's creative set, which cleverly utilized USGS data to bring Mt. Saint Helens to life on the board, I decided to expand on this concept and create more tiles that capture the essence of the region's breathtaking natural beauty. Here are the results: a series of tiles featuring: Mt. Hood, a towering giant that dominates the landscape with its snow-capped peak and verdant slopes. Crater Lake, a serene and mysterious gem that boasts deep blue waters surrounded by towering cliffs and lush vegetation. And last but not least, Mt. Shasta, a majestic volcano that rises dramatically from the surrounding landscape like a sentinel, its snowy summit glistening in the sunlight.
