Pneumatic Tool Dust Cap
thingiverse
This is a cap to go over the end of a 1/4 inch NPT fitting on any of your pneumatic tools. I used PETG. I haven't tried PLA, but I don't believe it would be flexible enough for this design. The collar is just flexible enough with the beveled edge and hex pattern to slip over the hex part of the fitting and fit nice on the 13.5mm diameter threads. I also shortened the height in the middle of the leash to give it more flex and still keep its strength. I paid 4 or 5 bucks before to replaces one of these on a tool, so I made this one on my own and it seem to work great so far. The only infill is just in the top part of the cap, so 20% or greater is fine. -3 perimiters -4 layers top -3 layers bottom The picture shows my initials on the top of the cap, but the thing listed is a sanitized version of the design.
