Pneumatic Solenoid Bracket for Robotics (Festo VUVG-L10-B52-T-M7)
thingiverse
This is a basic bracket for a common pneumatic solenoid made by Festo that's widely used in FIRST Robotics builds and other machines. The bracket allows the solenoid to be quickly removed without tools, making it perfect for tweaking and maintenance. The brackets also make great placeholders during a build so real solenoids don't get damaged while running lines and wires. Plus, they simplify sharing solenoids among several robots since they're pretty pricey. Updated to V4: I shrunk the side tabs to clear an extra 1mm of space around the wire plugs, making it easier to access the release tab. I also increased the clearance in the wire guides so thicker wires can be stowed behind the towers without straining the plug itself. This is meant to prevent damage from staged or pulled wires. If you run the wire through the guide before plugging in the connector, everything will fit together smoothly.
