Pneumatic pressure limiting valve

Pneumatic pressure limiting valve

If you've got a double-acting airbrush and an ordinary compressor, once the main valve is released, the compressor will start to jump because it can't pump - there's no way for the air. I failed to find a simple pressure-reducing/limiting valve, so I had to design one myself. Here are the things you'll need: 1. An M3x20 DIN912 screw 2. An M3 Nylock nut to keep the bolt in place at the top 3. An M3 nut 4. A spring from a ball pen - any will do 5. An M5 nylock nut for sealing 6. A steel ball about 4.5-5mm in diameter - I used one from a 6002 bearing (4.76mm) After assembly, you can fine-tune the pressure applied to the ball by the spring by rotating the M3 screw and adjusting the pressure limit in the line.
