About A custom plastic connector designed for TitanExtruder users who prefer generic 10mm passthrough pneumatic connectors. I created this part because my original extruder's pneumatic connector broke, and I couldn't find a replacement nearby. Thankfully, it works seamlessly. Follow me on Instagram as madxfpv to see more of my designs and projects. Installation The part comes in two versions: one for rigid materials like PET/PLA, and another for flexible materials. Rigid When using the rigid connector, preheat the metal pneumatic connector before screwing it into the PLA/PET part. The inner diameter of the part has no tolerance and doesn't account for plastic contraction, flow rate, or printer calibration. This design provides a tight fit for the pneumatic connector. If the rigid part breaks while inserting the connector, try scaling the piece by 2-3% (0.02) and attempt again. Flexible Mount the connector firmly into the TPU part, but be careful not to over-tighten it. If the part doesn't have a tight grip with the connector, scale down the part by 2-3% (0.02) or increase the flow rate by 5-10%. After securing the part, verify that it's solid before mounting it in the extruder. Use a tie-wrap to add pressure on the connection point between the part and the pneumatic connector.
