The ventilator is comprised of an Ambu bag, which is powered by a stepper-motor chain mechanism connected to the Ambu bag compressor. This compressor is itself driven by a stepper motor and is equipped with simple control knobs that allow for precise adjustment of compression depth and rate. The control module also features LED alert lights and auditory alarms that sound if any critical parameters are breached. Multiple HEPA filters are integrated into the system, ensuring that all air delivered to the patient is thoroughly cleaned and purified before it enters their lungs. A heat moisture exchanger tubing and endotracheal tubing are used in conjunction with a y-tubing setup to facilitate precise control over gas exchange. CO2, O2, pressure, and flow sensors monitor vital signs in real-time and transmit this data to the control module for instant analysis. If any critical values deviate from set parameters, the system sounds an alarm through both auditory and visual signals via a negative feedback mechanism. Furthermore, the control module contains intuitive knobs that enable easy adjustment of compression depth and rate by the stepper motor powered Ambu bag compressor.
