This is the files containing the models of the PMI (Petite Merde Roulante) built by the Supaéro Robotik Club for the French robotics' cup in 2022. This robot ranked 5th by reaching the quarter-finals of the contest.

All the part were designed in Catia V3. The robot was built using different process: 3D printing (PLA), laser cutting (acrylic and wood) and classic machining for the rolling base (aircraft-grade aluminium and steel).

This robot was designed specifically for the 2022 edition of the French robotics cup. Its goal was to perform a few specific and simple tasks but with high accuracy and repeatability. That allowed it to score more than 100 points per match. You can read the 2022 rules here: https://www.eurobot.org/eurobot-contest/eurobot-2022/

The tasks were:

to probe the excavation squares and flipping the right ones (by reading the resistor's value)

grab the statuette

drop the replica

bring the statuette to the showcase and activate it

go back to the starting area

you can see it play here (1:07:00):

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/QzALBX7aHrk?t=4013"></oembed>

This robot was entirely built by members of the club, students at ISAE-Supaero on their free time. This model was posted here in order to archive this project and to give inspiration to other teams. But it was not meant to be built by other teams as the files does not contain any instructions. Electronics and programming files will not be shared here.

Feel free to contact me for any questions!
