Poseable Mannequin Model - 10th Scale (Approximately 180 mm High) This model has been adapted from an old 3D Studio mesh with unknown origin. I've modified it to use Neodymium disk magnets and 10mm steel balls. Only the left side STLs are provided, as they can be easily mirrored in your slicer software. Update - November 21, 2016: I've uploaded R2 of the Torso STL, addressing issues with R1 that didn't meet my expectations. I apologize for any chaos caused by the disorganization of my hobby workbench in the accompanying photos. Enjoy! **Magnet and Steel Ball Resources** * Strong Neodymium Disk Magnets (20 pieces): http://www.banggood.com/20pcs-N50-Strong-Countersunk-Ring-Magnets-12-x-3mm-Hole-4mm-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-p-979800.html?p=X9120314803172015043 * 10mm Magnetic Steel Balls (16 pieces): http://www.banggood.com/16Pcs-10-M4-Threaded-Steel-Ball-Rod-Ends-For-Kossel-3D-Printer-Magnetic-Joints-p-1003375.html?p=X9120314803172015043 These affiliate links will not incur any additional costs and will help me earn points for my next project, which I appreciate. **Print Settings** * Printer Brand: RepRap * Printer Model: Prusa Air 2 * Rafts: Yes * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.12mm * Infill: 10% (80% for hands and feet) * Notes: + Steel balls are secured with super glue, but can also be screwed in using M4 X 10 mm grub screws. + Joints feature 3mm holes, filled with 3mm PLA filament. + Elbow, knee, and ankle joints require sandpaper for a smooth yet stiff fit.
