A plywood table was created for a mini metal lathe, inspired by Windell Oskay's computer workstation design. The joinery method from Oskay was appreciated and applied to the wooden lathe table. For reinforcement, timber plates, a central panel, and triangular plywood were added. Future plans for the center include potential drawers. A Jan Chromec mini lathe is displayed as an example, but the table is used with a Sanches Blanes Lathe similar to South Bend 9-inch lathe. The Fab Lab at University of Chile (Fab851) provided the necessary tools (http://www.fablab.uchile.cl/).
