Hi! If you're lucky enough to have a 3D printer and laser cutter, then this design of spool holder is definitely worth checking out. The parts are small, so you can easily make it out of leftover materials. Made from 3.5mm plywood, the kerf is 0.2mm and it fits snugly together. The dimensions of the hole for my spool are: length: 63mm, circumference: 53.50mm. In your printing program, you can easily adjust the length and circumference to fit your brand of filament. Assembly is a breeze - no manual required. You'll just need some sort of wood glue to get it done. This design is specifically made for Anet A8.
