Plywood panel linking joint for laser or router

thingiverse

Introducing a new joint concept that links panels on the same plane by utilizing stretchy squiggly parts resembling springs. These parts exert a decent force to pull the panels together. Notably, this design is compatible with laser cutters, making it convenient for constructing large objects from smaller machines or scrap materials. Potential applications include room dividers, construction sets, and even trampolines. The notch length for receiving squiggly springs can be adjusted based on the material's thickness and flexibility, with a suggested 0.015" step in plywood adjustments. This project is still a work in progress!
