Do you still have some strips of 110 film that were used in pocket cameras back in the 1970s and 1980s? And do you have a Plustek OpticFilm scanner?

This is a film holder for 110 films. Just place the film strip into the holder, put the cover on the holder, and scan the film.

Customizing

The OpenSCAD source code is included. By changing a few paramters, you can easily design film holders for almost any size and number of frames.

Printing

I recommend to use black filament, to reduce scatter lights from the scanner lamp while scanning. Use brims, especially if your filament is prone of warping.

I only had a small number of film strips to scan, and the holder did a good job. However, for a larger number you may want to do some minor improvements. The film strip shifts around in the holder, so probably some registration pins should be added to hold it in place.
