3ds Max 2010 software paired with V-Ray 2.40.03 allows for the creation of a plush Mongolian Sheepskin rug model in FBX format without wool. The rug measures 150x200 cm and features a fur made entirely by geometry. To achieve this look, you can either render the effect directly through geometry or use a modifier to include the hair and fur details. When using geometry for rendering, it's advisable to first convert the model into a proxy before translation. Selecting the mr prim mode in the Hair and Fur section of the Effects tab yields a more realistic result compared to rendering with geometry. System units are set to millimeters.
