Plunge saw clamp adapter Tauchsägen Klemm Adapter Parkside
thingiverse
For a long time I wished this equipment, the clamps made by Festool or Bosch were so expensive... But it is necessary to fix your saw rail, not to drift away. There are the very cheap clamps you can get at Aldi, Lidl or other discounters. Handle this clamps with care and press them with a good feeling for your tool - so they will last long. I remember reading in the net, the measures of this cheap-Parkside-rail are the same like others festool, makitta, I don't know... Some Makers on youtube made the adapters from plywood, or with metal by welding. At first there is always need for a construction, taking the measurements - and into my CADsoftware fusion360 and why not to send it to my 3dPrinter. Printed in PLA with 70% infill or more. And it works! Pay attention with the force of your clamping, there is no need of high pressure - I am sure you can destroy it easy. But weak ones are better than none! ( I testet another version to connect two clamps for longreach - printed in PETG - one short pulling test - broken) Please have a look on my youtube-channel - especially the video making this thing and removing the supports. Its in german - I trained my longlong ago school-english by youtube videos - try it out learning german this way! https://youtu.be/_0HZLNGGByE bye bye - basteley my name is Wolfgang Ley and bastel means handcrafted diy work in german
