Plummer Block

A Plummer block is a device used in hydraulic machinery to convert reciprocating motion into rotational motion. It's named after its inventor, Charles Plummer. The block consists of a cylindrical housing with an eccentric shaft running through it. As the eccentric shaft rotates, it causes the housing to move back and forth in a linear motion which can be used to power machinery or other equipment.
