Plumbus (Easy Print NO SUPPORTS)

I examined numerous models of the Plumbus and determined that they either presented significant printing challenges without supports or failed to deliver satisfactory quality. Having honed my CAD skills, I designed an alternative model that addresses these issues. Although it's relatively easy to print, assembly involves gluing components together. To facilitate flat-bed printing, I divided the design into several sections. The Plumbus requires two colors of filament (or spray paint) for basic assembly, while a third color is necessary if you choose to print the stand separately. I printed this model on my Anet A8 using 0.3mm layers and PLA filament. To achieve the desired appearance, print the grumbo in dinglebop and the grodus in skin-colored PLA. Use pink for the chumbles and floob components. For a striking effect, print the stand with glow-in-the-dark blue filament, which will appear white until you turn off the lights. For scale reference, the Grumbo measures approximately 4 inches (102mm) in diameter, making it a substantial Plumbus model rather than a tiny one.
