plumbing trap for a sink (FreeCAD) source
thingiverse
Most plumbing traps under the sink are large and cumbersome, featuring a P-trap design by default.\r\nThis space-saving modification connects your standard-sized sink to a smaller pipe, similar to those found in caravans or RVs. Warning: many countries strictly enforce the use of P-trap designs due to concerns about stinky gas backflow, but some areas allow Q, J, and S trap variations. This design is a modified P-trap, where the traditional configuration has been turned upside down to save space. It works effectively without causing backflow issues, although its certification status may vary depending on your location. Use it at your own discretion and take full responsibility for any potential risks.\r\n\r\nPrint with ABS or PETG filament, using 20% infill and 4 perimeter walls. Avoid adding supports unless they are essential to prevent the print from touching the bed. The model pictured was successfully printed without support structures.
