My guitar eats 9V batteries if I accidentally leave the cable plugged in. So this part let's my use a plastic piece with a 9V plug to insert into the guitar so I can avoid burning through batteries. I connected the 9V print to this power adapter - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JH9D8FT/ That fits into my guitar pickup so I can avoid using batteries when needed.
