Easy DIY Tube Plug Solution Create a basic plug for your tubes by following these straightforward steps: Gather materials such as an old metal paperclip and a wooden ruler. Bend the paperclip into a U-shape, forming the base of your plug. Make sure it is sturdy enough to hold its shape. Cut a small notch at one end of the ruler, just deep enough to fit over the tube. This will serve as the anchor point for your plug. Place the plug onto the tube and carefully push the notched end of the ruler over the tube's opening. Secure with a few twists of electrical tape. Test the plug by inserting it into the tube and gently twisting it back and forth. If it feels secure, you're done!
