Plug for bicycle hub dynamo
thingiverse
To power my GPS and phone while cycling, I created a DIY hub dynamo charger. Finding spare plugs for attaching wires to the hub dynamo was difficult and expensive; thus, I decided to 3D print them using my RepRap. The plug comprises an inner part and outer shell, with stripped wires inserted into holes and bent around before being secured in the outer shell. I printed this plug on a 0.4mm j-head nozzle at H=.25mm/W=.56mm. Although the inner part's "click-stop" is fragile, the tight fit between the parts makes it unnecessary.
