Plug I run a wire from the roof to the ground (for lightning protection) hidden under thermal insulation of my house inside a plastic pipe with an external diameter of 32mm (internal diameter is 26.5mm). The wire is 8mm thick aluminum. To prevent bugs from getting into the pipe and causing trouble, I created a plug that leaves no room for bugs to enter. I printed it from PETG using a 0.8mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height. Print time was 8 minutes. One plug consists of two identical parts so you don't have to put the plug on the wire at the beginning (one often forgets). There are two 3mm holes where you can (it's optional) insert up to 12mm long sticks or nails so that the two parts line up. 2. Ring A wire for lightning protection should have as few turns as possible and no sharp turns, as any sharp turn of the wire might cause additional damage to your property. However, if you run a wire from the roof to the wall following these rules, drops of water will flow down the wire into your thermal insulation or down your wall, neither of which is good for your building. To fix this problem, I created a ring that stops drops of water. This way, drops of water will fall directly to the ground from the ring. This idea is used in the industry of lightning protection, but many people are unaware of it, and some workers don't care about your building, so they don't install these rings. Additionally, these rings are usually white and difficult to buy because they're so cheap that there's little profit to be made from selling them. So if you have a printer, just print these rings from suitable material, and you'll have them in the desired color for almost nothing.
