For the Bigtreetech smart filament sensor, this is a cover for where the plug connector opening is. It keeps anything from falling within where the roller wheel is located. I use PLA, 205°c hotend, 60°c bedtemp and a 0.6mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height. My printer is the TLM (Tevo Little Monster). I printed with a brim to help keep it nice and flat.
