Plug and play belted Nema 17 Gear Box for Extruders
thingiverse
This is a plug and play belted gear box with a 3.5:1 gear ratio, achieved by using a 16t pulley. It's currently being used on my Bear extruder paired with an LDO 0.9 Slim Power stepper, drawing inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3553286 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2845416. To print this gear box, use PETG without supports, orienting it vertically so that it resembles an arrow pointing upwards on the plate. A minimum of three perimeters and 12% gyroid infill is recommended for optimal results. The required hardware includes: * Three m3 screws measuring 20-25mm in length, accompanied by washers * One gt2 belt measuring 140mm long, specifically a closed belt * One 16t pulley * Two 105zz bearings * A shaft approximately 40mm in length and 5mm in diameter
