OpenSCAD's parametric version of a PL2Q Hugin quadcopter, named Leshy due to its shape-shifting nature and compatibility with OpenSCAD, is now available. Ported by the user to make changes easily, all STL files slice fine with Slic3r. The design closely replicates the original PL2Q Hugin within +-0.1mm, with only a few modifications added. A coupler connects each half of the arms to strengthen the joint without adding much weight. The name "Leshy" is stamped on the canopy using the ArchitectsDaughter font from More Fontz! project. The OpenSCAD style guide was followed, and ThingDoc comments combined with module comments for better organization. The arm radius affects other parameters in this design, ensuring resizing of the canopy, motor mounts, and body accordingly. The Makefile-driven code is hosted on GitHub with instructions for downloading and building STL files. Documentation generation requires thingdoc and pdflatex software. ThingDoc is used to generate documentation for better understanding and assembly.
