I created this plinth using Solid Edge as a base for my Sweeping Nameplate, which had a vulnerable spot in the middle due to letter alignment issues. Printing the nameplate with a raft would have been a much simpler solution, but I found this workaround to be a more effective option - and it allows me to print the plinth in a different color to accentuate the nameplate.
