PLIGHTRI - a Tricopter with mounting for Naze FC board

thingiverse

This tricopter design is inspired by David Windestahl's RC-Explorer and features DT750 motor mounts, Naze 32 and Acro Naze 32 mounting cases, a battery holder for 10-15 minute flights with a Sony Action cam mounted, and a camera mount on the front. The design includes non-folding legs, printed supports, and screw holes that allow direct M3 bolt insertion into the plastic. Designed using Blender, the piece offers plenty of options to hold batteries and cables in place. It is built with boolean logic, featuring a square pattern with 3mm holes for Acro NaZe and Sony ActionCam base plate from ViniG. Printed at 10% infill and .2mm slice thickness with supports, the design is rock solid and allows easy camera mount swaps. The motor mounts are slightly springy to protect against rough landings, while the hinged mount can be adjusted using M3x20mm bolts. A future update will likely include cable-management clips and a new removable leg system.
