Pliers Organizer (Extendable, Modular, f3d)
thingiverse
I needed a more modular, easy to print and extendable drawer organizer for pliers, with variable cell width (to accommodate various kinds of pliers) and to fit as many pliers as possible. Surprisingly it was quite a challenge to design. Tested with all kinds of pliers I own (for building 3d printers) and adjusted to make a comfortable fit for all of them (the walls are a bit deeper than most designs I used/found in the past) Third (Back) rail is optional but adds a lot of rigidity. Tested with a calibrated (Klipper, PA, RC) printer and an uncalibrated :-) Marlin (no LA) printer. Some advice for assembly: 1. Bottom rails – place rail on a rigid/sturdy surface and gently push the wall straight against the rail 2. Back rail - is optional, best strategy is to fit one corner into position and rotate (45 deg.) into position 3. Make shorter segments - simpler assembly, rebuild, manipulation (I suggest 77,4mm or 102.4mm segments) 4. You can find all rail lengths from 27.4mm to 202.4mm in attached zip file (you can just cut the rail if you don't like to do math to fit your drawer size ### UPDATE 1.11.2021 Thanks to @Alyxxík I found, i generated accidentally all rails from older version. Fixed. I'm sorry :-(
