I'm still trying to figure out what to call these. They're small pads that attach to large Kobalt "Magnum Grip" adjustable pliers and securely hold "large" snaps in place. Two pads sit on either side of the snap, one on top and one at the bottom, cradling the flat sides while the pointy ends are held firm by two additional pads.\r\n\r\nThe snaps I'm using are 5/8" Heavy Duty Snap Fasteners from Jo-Ann Fabrics, specifically the #981-1 model.\r\n\r\nI printed these pads in nylon using Taulman 910 alloy, a material that I highly recommend for projects like this.
