Plier Rack for Tool Chest
thingiverse
I wanted to organize the contents of my toolbox, focusing on the pliers, channel locks, and cutters. After seeing a commercial product that stores pliers at an angle to optimize drawer space, I decided to create my own version. It's a straightforward design, but we all have to start somewhere. If I decide to modify the design in the future, I'll likely increase the thickness of the dividers by 1mm for added durability and widen the smallest slots by 1mm. The tongue-and-groove connection between the two parts is necessary because my printer bed isn't wide enough to accommodate the full width of the design. To achieve a decent fit, I had to use a file to refine the tongue. The two parts are held together with cyanoacrylate adhesive.
