Building a custom plexiglass enclosure for my Wanhao i3 Plus requires some creative problem-solving, so I've already created corners and middle sections. The holes in the plexiglass need to be precisely 5mm, ensuring they line up perfectly with the drill bit. To prevent screws from slipping out, the internal holes are slightly smaller than the screws themselves. As of now, this project is still a work in progress; I plan to add the bottom pieces later since they'll require unique designs - possibly incorporating magnetic fasteners or hinges once I've completed the rest of the enclosure. To enhance stability and reduce noise levels, I'm considering adding a reinforcing bar along the sides, which will likely be glued into place. The entire design was created using Tinkercad's intuitive interface. Printer Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: Not Required Supports: None Needed Resolution: 0.1mm Infill Percentage: 80% Notes: My printer is a Wanhao DI3 Plus, and I successfully used a brim with Cura settings and PLA filament without any issues.
