You should install plexiglass plates around your 3D printer to enhance stability, especially when printing ABS. It's likely you'll need to seal off corners and the front area as well. To achieve optimal belt tension, consider removing the top horizontal adaptors. You can also use a hole aligner to drill holes in the plexiglass after mounting the adapters. I've utilized 3mm Plexi for this project, requiring 63 pieces of m3x20mm screws and some additional m3 bolts which you may already have on hand. For printing adapter plates, make sure to align them vertically; otherwise, the holes will stack up.
